Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action – de:hub Website
How do you launch a network into the internet?
The Challenge
RCKT operates the Digital Hub Initiative for the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, with the aim of connecting start-ups, the scientific community and companies. Our job: Launching the network online.
The Solution
Networking mainly takes place on the ground: In the Hubs, at trade fairs, and at events organized by the initiative. We are developing the existing website into a digital platform to enable various stakeholders to network with each other in the digital space. A number of search tools make it easy to find suitable start-ups, programs and events.
The Website as a Platform
Since the launch of the Digital Hub Initiative, the website has served as an information portal about the Hubs. In 2020, we converted the website into a platform and have been developing it ever since with the goal of consolidating the Hub’s and the Initiative’s resources and services online.
One system for five networks. At least.
There are five search tools with various filter functions to help our users find exactly the right start-up for them. With the Start-up Finder, companies and investors can search for suitable start-ups and filter them by industry, company size or technology etc. The Program Finder features all programs of the Hubs and the Initiative. With the other search tools, experts, jobs and events can be found.
All of the initiative’s offers at a glance. For any target group.
How can I become part of a network initiative and what services are available to me? These questions are answered on the Take Part pages, which explain all the initiatives’ offers, sorted by target group.
12 individual Hubs across Germany
Each of the twelve Digital Hubs has a different focus and target group. Our Hub pages provide an overview of the work of each Hub, its offers and services, successful collaborations, and upcoming events.
